Hi, I'm having an issue with my DS. When driving it loses all power and the engine cuts out. The dash display shows engine systems Fault. The only way to get it started again is to disconnect both fuel lines going into and out of the diesel filter. It then starts first time but the fault soon returns. I've changed the fuel filter but this makes no difference. Any ideas or suggestions ? 👍

You going to need to connect a diagnostic device to the standard OBD socket somewhere below the steering wheel. You can get cheap Bluetooth ones that work with phone or tablet software such as the Torque app. It won't give you as much as dedicated Landrover software but you should be able to read the fault code recorded by the ECU to allow you to research further.

The little info we do know ( no signature information) is that it is 2016 model so presumably still under the 3 year warranty.
The solution is obviously to contact the dealer through one of the normal channels ! Isn"t it ?

If it's 2016 it's still under warranty. Call LR Assist. Either by phone or by pushing the button in the roof. If they give you the choice, ask for a LR technician rather than general AA. They will diagnose it and if need be book it into the dealer and get you a replacement car. Very efficient in my experience.

Have to say I assumed that as the poster had started by changing the fuel filter the car was no longer covered by guarantee.

Could also be something as simple as a faulty fuel filler cap causing vacuum pressure in the fuel cct.
The Honda CRV suffered bad,y from this , a new filler cap and all was well.
